Stitched Up Jigsaw Blanket is a simple and unique blanket, made using the Filet technique of crochet. This pattern is written in US and UK terms. It is such an addictive technique to use as you slowly see the pattern emerging with each finished row.
The pattern consists of written instructions as well as a chart. There are instructions on how to amend the size of the blanket too.
Description
Stitched Up Jigsaw Blanket crochet pattern uses Aran yarn and a 5.0 mm hook but you can use any to suit your preference but this will alter the size of your blanket. It uses approximately 600g of yarn. 500g for the main colour and 100g for the border if made following this pattern. I used Stylecraft Special Aran yarn in the colours, Watermelon and Cream.
The finished pattern is 36 inches x 46 inches. A larger blanket will need more yarn. There are instructions included on how to amend the size of your blanket in the pattern.
The pattern is very beginner friendly and offers different ways to follow the pattern as it contains row by row written instructions as well as a chart to work from.
