Welcome to Stitched Up By Emma.

I’m Emma, a crochet designer and maker behind Stitched Up By Emma. I have been running my little crochet business since 2017. Creating crochet patterns has now become a passion of mine.

It started off like many learning to knit and crochet from my Nan when I was little. I took to knitting and almost forgot all about crochet. That was until I was pregnant with my Son. I started to pick crochet back up and soon became obsessed. Since then there probably hasn’t been many days I’ve not done some crochet.

I tried designing my own crochet patterns, starting with baby comforters and found that they turned out OK. Then I moved to hats and then blankets. I love making blankets and are my favourite things ever to make. My most popular crochet pattern is the the Linked Hearts Blanket which was featured on the Bella Coco Blog for FREE pictured below.

Recently, I have been playing around with wall hanging patterns which I am hoping to be able to share with you all very soon.

I started listing my patterns on Etsy and was amazed when I sold my first pattern. I could not believe that someone liked my pattern enough to buy it. When small businesses say they do a little happy dance when they make a sale, they really do. I appreciate every single sale no matter how small as it makes my dream a reality every time. It drives me to design more and really push myself and see where I can take Stitched Up By Emma.
